Abstract
Banjaran Subdistrict is one of subdistrict in Bandung Regency with excellent agriculture land potential. For some land, the cultivations are not directly done by the owner. Surrounding communities have utilized them by planting rice and secondary crops. The products are usually used to help communities’ daily necessities including food staple. In agriculture, irrigation is crucial aspect to supply water throughout the season. The existing system utilizes solar photovoltaic (PV)-powered water pump. However, the installation has not fulfilled the electrical safety and standard. The proposed community development program is conducted to help the partner to revitalize current installed solar PV system. There are six important activities done to revitalize the previous installation, they are 1) built the placeholder for battery, 2) added grounding system, 3) built system for pump switching 4) installed AC and DC box, 5) added data logger, 6) repaired cabling system. Methodologies in this work are site survey, problem mapping, solution design, prototyping, installation and testing. Among six activities, five of them achieved predefined target well.
