Abstract

Dunia bisnis memang tidak pernah sepi dari ‘buzzword’; istilah keren nan bombastis yang membuat orang kaget dan membenarkannya. Coba ingat saja mulai dari tahun 70 hingga 90an, banyak akronim 3 huruf meramaikan perbincangan di kalangan pelaku bisnis. Sebut saja JIT (just in time), BPR (business process reingeneering), WCM (world class manufacturing), DFA/DFM (design for assembly/manufacture), ERP (enterprise resource planning), SCM (supply chain management), BSC (Balanced score card), CRM (customer relationship management) dan lainnya. Mulai 2000an, tidak lagi gunakan pakem 3 huruf, bermunculanlah istilah2 baru: design thinking, disruptive innovation, industry 4.0 hingga artificial intelligence (AI).
